Xbox Game Pass Already Has 23 Games Confirmed for 2023

Xbox Game Pass is always planning ahead it seems, and as it stands, there are a total of 23 games confirmed to release on the service in 2023.

The year is more than halfway over at this point, but there’s still plenty of time for new video game announcements, releases, and more. Over the past month or so, the fall video games for 2022 have become increasingly stacked with titles like Skull and Bones, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and God of War Ragnarok recently getting release dates.

Beyond just video game releases, many are excited to see what comes to Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus Premium, and/or any announcements tied to these services. Fans can already expect Epic Games Store to give away a ton of mystery games to celebrate the holidays, per usual, but Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus are wild cards. Plus, it’s never too soon to look at next year, and Game Pass has a stacked deck already.

As it stands, there are 23 confirmed releases for Xbox Game Pass in 2023. The key word here is confirmed, as obviously more games will be announced when it gets closer, and some games have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass with no release window. For example, fans know that Hollow Knight: Silksong will release day one on Game Pass by June 2023, but they don’t know if it’s a Q4 2022 title or a Q1-2 2023 title. Because of this ambiguousness, it and games like it have been omitted here, but that still leaves 23 games to look forward to on Game Pass next year (as of now).

Overall, it’s looking really promising. There are several major titles listed like Starfield, Redfall, Forza, and Minecraft Legends, and as other games push further into development from first-party Xbox studios, it’ll be interesting to see what else releases next year. First-party aside too, there are a ton of third-party AAA games that would be promising releases on Xbox Game Pass, but it’s clear halfway through 2022 that Xbox Game Pass is already gearing up for 2023.

Xbox Game Pass users get a handful of games every month.
